Parenting is a journey and yet no one gives you a map or shows you how to navigate.
Designed by a team of psychologists and experts, ParentalEQ’s Parenting BackPack has your back as you decide on the routes through the parenting challenges you face with your child.
Whether you are in crisis mode dealing with defiant behaviour, sleep or school anxiety through to socialisation challenges, tantrums & more or whether you are in thriving mode when you just want to proactively work on your child’s resilience and emotional well-being.
The Parenting BackPack has over 20 different modules in 2 tracks:
Knowledge - simplified but NOT dumbed down psychology to help you understand the emotional terrain. Each audio module is always less than 10m in length. Like a mini-podcast of parent-child psychology. All to get the parent mentally prepared and orientated for the journey ahead.
Activities - actual parent-child programs you do together. Designed by experts and psychologists. Think of it as the map and compass that you use together to manage the challenge you are both facing. We’ll cover a range of topics including understanding fears, managing unhelpful thoughts, navigating emotions, techniques of dealing with anxiety and more.
We’re like the compass and the guide. We’ll try and help you understand the terrain and suggest some routes you might want to take. Some days there are hills and others may be full of rugged mountains but at least you have a plan of where to go and how to get there.
It's as much about the parent as it is the child. In fact, we’re really there for you. Your map, compass and guide, should you need it. Parenting is a team sport. You got this.
