Guitar fretboard is a maze of interconnected pitches where, to effectively find your way, both rigorous visualization training and good harmony knowledge are needed - Guitar Mage helps you train these essential skills in a fun and challenging way!

Guitar Mage is NOT a tool to display chords and scales - instead it's a method of learning to visualize them yourself!

Guitar Mage is not only for beginners - advanced guitarists will also benefit from regular practice. You can effectively train truly relevant guitar skills without actually touching guitar!

The game has you duel against various opponents (currently there are 88 different opponents in the game - 22 in the lite version) who each have a task that you must complete to defeat them. You gain experience from each victory, and progress in the game by leveling up.

The lite version has limitations (level cap is 8, has only single notes and intervals and position is limited to lower part of the fretboard, also you can choose to display only note names, not intervals on the fretboard). There is also no sound for selected notes in the free version - full version features the option to play vintage jazz guitar (with tube amp) sounds for every fret and possible tuning (162 different sounds)!

For the full version the basic training is over after you reach level 23, and you will continue to unlock new scales up till level 33 - then you have unlocked all 88 different foes. The game also supports custom tunings and there is an in-game guide (in english) containing helpful information. I expect you to be quite a master of the fretboard by the time you reach level 50!
